Assalamualaikum,

Lama saya tidak meng-update blog... mengapa ya?

Bagi mereka yang sudah bertahun-tahun kenal dengan saya sepatutnya tahu. Yang baru sahaja kenal, saya tidak pasti. Yang saya pasti, saya dilamun cinta! Tidak percaya bukan? Saya kini sudah mempunyai buah hati saya sendiri. Mahu tahu siapa dia? Sudah tentu!

BUKU!

Tidak percaya bukan? Tetapi itulah hakikatnya. Saya sudah jatuh cinta dengan buku sekali lagi. Specifically novels.

Saya kalau baca novel... pergh! Tidak ingat dunia. Memang ketika kemaruk Harry Potter Series sewaktu sekolah rendah, hendak jumpa saya lakukan perkara lain selain membaca amatlah payah. Sekali saya pegang a good book, memang tidak lepas-lah jawab-nya.

Kalau saya membaca novel, insya-Allah sekejap sahaja kerana saya memang focus tahap dewa terhadap novel tersebut. Makan saya lupa, minum saya lupa, rancangan kegemaran saya lupa, sanggup berjaga sampai 2-3 pagi hanya untuk menghabiskan sesuatu novel. Macam saya cakap tadi... lupa dunia.

Memang mudah untuk saya berjumpa dengan novels. Ditakdirkan pula saya peminat novel-novel English yang tebal-tebal (biasanya 400 hingga 700 muka surat). Maaf, bukan tidak support novel Melayu... cuma... bahasa-nya entah apa-apa! Meluat juga kadang-kadang.

Saya mudah untuk berjumpa dengan novel kerana saya memang biasanya peminat film-film English (no doubts on that). Orang-orang Barat pula sibuk untuk mengadaptasi novel itu ini bagai. Maka prinsip saya: "Books are WAY better than movies" akan sentiasa terbuka luas untuk saya buktikan.

Saya jenis manusia yang suka baca series punya novel. Like Harry Potter Series, The Twilight Saga, Alex Rider Series, The Power Of Five Series, Septimus Heap Series, The Prophecy Of The Sisters Trilogy, Fallen Series, Siri Budak Psikik, Siri Impiana. Siri Aku Mahu... and lots more.

Mainly novels yang saya baca datang dari author yang sama dan dari genre yang sama. Fantasy, a lot of magic, romance, thrills or so. Cuma baru-baru ini tukar angin sekejap. Saya sekarang sedang membaca Shopahilc Series.

Shopaholic Series

To be honest, I LOVE Harry Potter novels but I HATE the movies. I hate it, hate it, hate it! Like I said to too many people before: "Aku kalau tengok Harry Potter, hanya untuk mengkritik". A bit harsh, I admit, but that's the truth. The movies are just the pain in the ass. They are plain dreadful!

The Twilght Saga, I personally like Twilight sahaja; yang lain macam New Moon, Eclipse dan Breaking Dawn just didn't catch me. Kalau movie... I honestly don't believe that I'm THAT happy kalau tengok. Maybe just to show I like Twilight kot (kalau terjerit-jerit everytime nampak Twilight).

Shopaholic Series consist of Confessions Of A Shopaholic, Shopaholic Takes Manhattan, Shopaholic Ties The Knot, Shopaholic And Sister, Shopaholic And Baby dan Mini Shopaholic. Seriously, saya sangat-sangat suka siri ini. Memang gila superb punya cerita-lah!

Maybe because I can relate myself with the protagonist, Rebecca Bloomwood. I mean really really relate myself. I has been a while since the last my heart was thumping madly for a climax (which I can't recall where the hell was the last one). But it did when I was at the breach of everything in Confessions Of A Shopaholic.

In Shopaholic Takes Manhattan, even I could not belive that I found myself cried for Becky. Literally crying! Like tears rolling down my cheek. Well, not really. I read books while lying on bed. It must not rolling down my cheek right? Maybe running towards the side of my face would be more appropriate.

Then the movie. Well, the movie was gorgeous! I know I'm a bit far too late but hey! Better late than never! Memang betul-betul suka movie dia dan a little bit dumbstruck-lah bila tahu mereka tidak akan produce sequels of the movie because they only manage to collect 44 million USD sahaja for Confessions Of A Shopaholic. Memang kecewa sebab pada saya, cerita tersebut memang semangnya best! Saya memang gelak sakan sewaktu tengok movienya.
